I enjoyed reading through the librarian wikis. The other elementary librarians in my district and I communicate about our neat ideas through email. I think the collaborative nature of a wiki would serve us well, particulary as we begin to implement the new standards. A wiki would also give us the history of our discussions, which will be helpful in rewriting our district's curriculum.
For my K-6 students, a wiki would offer a forum for book reviews. It would also be a good place for me to post my book talks. My students vote on the PA Young Reader's Choice Award each year. A wiki would be a fun way for students to discuss their favorites, and try to convince others to vote for their selection.
